We pride ourselves on three essential ingredients: good wine, good food, and good company.
It's a pretty simple recipe, really. And it is enhanced by the occasional gig, the odd wine tasting, and irregular but frequent events (art exhibitions for example) which take our fancy or which our customers propose.

Wilde's is an independent, family business which has occupied the same Regency basement since 1976.
We remain true to our founding principles:
Good wines - there are sixty or more of them, twenty or so by the glass. The emphasis is Old World, but the New World is more than adequately represented by major players such as Urlar, de Gras and the Bogle Estate.
Good food - and good value. We source fine ingredients from free range and organic suppliers wherever possible, and cook them simply and well.
Good company - because the right people on our side of the bar attract the right people on your side of the bar. And vice versa.
