Our wine list changes not regularly, but frequently.

This version keeps the standards and favourites, but also includes some terrific new wines from the old and new worlds. We hope it proves that, whatever the pundits say, there is good value to be found out there if you are prepared to listen and taste with an open mind.

Having said that, it remains true that every list is the result of a series of compromises; and every list subjective to a greater or lesser extent.

This one is to a greater extent. The majority of wines still emanate from the Old World; and the majority of those from France and, in particular, Bordeaux. But our New World offering has been enhanced significantly by wines such as those of Urlar in New Zealand, Parker in Australia and Mont Gras in Chile. They - and our other New World wines - can be enjoyed by even the most committed Francophile.

The list is evolving all the time as we discover new growers and new wines. Please keep your recommendations flowing.

We serve our house wines by the 125ml, 175ml and 250ml glass and 50cl carafe to encourage experimentation and allow you to mix and match with various dishes.
